Where else would you find more than 10,000 accountancy and finance professionals, and hundreds of exhibitors all in one place? Accountex London 2023 is the answer. Spotlight Reporting was thrilled to exhibit at Accountex London for another year, where we had the chance to demonstrate our award-winning solutions and showcase our innovative product suite.  

Set over two days at the popular events and conference centre, ExCel London, the Spotlight Reporting team travelled to the bustling capital of the UK to demonstrate the power of reporting and forecasting. We had the opportunity to meet with so many people who were looking to our innovative software to make a difference to their business and their clients. 

Day 1: The halls were alive with the sound of... Reporting!

Day one was nothing short of a delight. The halls were buzzing, our event stand was overflowing, and we had many exciting conversations with people interested in taking the next step in advisory services.

Innovation on display

Not only was our stand popular, we had an impressive turnout at our first presentation of the day at the FinTech & Innovation Showcase. Here Kunal Devabhai, our Senior Account Manager, discussed the power of Spotlight Reporting and showed what it can do for you. It was a great opportunity to catch the end of day visitors, and was a moment for us to make a lasting impression on those heading home for the day. 

Day 2: Getting appy at the App Advisory Plus theatre

The second and final day started with an exciting hour where Miranda Kendall, our Director of EMEA, joined a panel discussion hosted by App Advisory Plus, where Graeme at Empowered by Cloud and Lara at Mazars UK discussed bespoke vs custom apps.

Spotlight hits the halls

Accountex London brings the opportunity to meet new businesses and discuss market trends, but it also gives us the chance to say hello to our friends.

On this front, our team sat down with Andy North, Head of Marketing at TaxCalc, and had a great catch up. We also got the opportunity to say hello to our friends at Xero, where Miranda caught up with fellow Ecosystem Partnerships Manager, Chris Tugman, to discuss Spotlight Reporting and Xero’s thriving integration.

Greeting new friends from far away

As the day went on, we continued to have insightful discussions with visitors to our stand. We met groups from all over the world, including some new friends from Portugal who were thrilled to be there (but missed the better weather at home). It was a busy day two where our team, including our sales experts, Gurpreet Lidder and Kunal, delivered excellent demonstrations.

Another year over - where to next?

What a busy few days we had greeting businesses, friends and partners!
