Spotlight Reporting has been around the world with Xero. We started off at Tobacco Docks in London, next stop was the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, and now for the third and final time of 2022, it’s great to be back at Xerocon Sydney! We’ll be joining hundreds of like-minded accountants, bookkeepers and app partners for the two-day event from 7th - 8th September.

1. Meeting And Reconnecting With People
Alex Bailey, (Customer Success Specialist), is looking forward to reconnecting with our customers. With the return of in-person events, it has been long-anticipated to be able to connect face to face with industry peers, and Xerocon is the perfect place to do this. Jehan Hapuarachchi, our Head of Business Directs - APAC, resonates the same sentiment. He can’t wait to grab the energy at Xerocon after a long hiatus of in-person events.
2. Learning from the best: Attending insightful sessions
Melanie Karagezian, (Customer Success Specialist), is eager to attend some speaker sessions where she can hear from the experts at Xero, and other app partners, to find out the latest trends straight from the source.
3. Xerocon Experience: For The First Time
As one of our Xerocon ‘newbies’, Chris Welch, (Customer Success Executive), can’t wait to experience Xerocon for the first time, with all the bells and whistles it has to offer. Not to mention keeping on top of all the networking opportunities and get togethers! For many of us, it isn’t our first rodeo, but for some, it is their first time attending the event, where there is so much to see and immerse yourself in.
4. Discovering new products and features
Shriya Gosain, (Account Manager - VIC/TAS/SA), is looking forward to learning about the latest product and feature announcements and exciting technologies coming to the industry. At Xerocon, there is always a lot of buzz around products, and there is always some exciting news being shared.
5. Reflection and Blue sky thinking
Having attended quite a few Xerocons herself, Danella Whaanga, (Chief Experience Officer) still looks forward to attending the ‘event of the year’ where she’s able to catch up with friends, clients and partners, all under one roof. But more than that, for her it’s about reflecting on the event afterwards, and being inspired by the ‘blue sky’ thinking it creates. She encourages her team to take these ideas further into their day to day interaction with our clients, and to embed the learnings into their strategic planning going forward.
